VP of Marketing

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Build Marketing into a high performance function in company
- Provide vision and idea leadership
- Ensure the right team composition; develop, train, and motivate members
- Excellence in priority setting & execution
- Cross-functional influence, innovation and renovation
- Multi-year brand P&Ls
- Renovate existing products and lines to achieve consumer preference
- Work with R&D, operations, sales, finance, and others functions to ensure executional excellence in new product launches
- Work with CEO on business development opportunities
- Develop annual brand plans and execute
- Set goals for financial objectives and key metrics
- Advertising and PR: Determine promotional and advertising plan, lead pricing and promotion policy, branding and packaging design, web and social media, consumer promotion, corporate communications
- Aid in the development of selling stories and materials
- Manage for achievement of annual operating plan (AOP)
- Manage pricing to SRPs and targeted price gaps
- International marketing support
- Direct to consumer (e-commerce) marketing support
- Provide leadership on national promotional programming and depth
- Manage key discipline areas through internal resources and outside agencies
- Member of Senior Leadership Team (SLT) providing functional representation and an enterprise perspective

Compensation: Competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, and significant long term equity plan participation

Relocation: Available
Travel Requirements: Requires travel up to 25%
Preferred Experience: 15+ years of increasing responsibility in consumer packaged goods marketing. Demonstrable history delivering superior results in a performance based company. Proven success in building and leading a team. Background working within a smaller, lean organization with broad responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.); MBA preferred
