If you love what you do, but are ready to “give back” by teaching at the University level, you could become a professor of advertising at the renowned Missouri School of Journalism.
Our growing Strategic Communication program is looking for three industry professionals to teach in these areas:
• Professor of Creative Copywriting in Strategic Communication
• Professor of Creative Design & Visuals in Strategic Communication
• Professor of Creative Media in Strategic Communication
These are full-time, full benefit faculty positions with a relocation stipend. No advanced degree is necessary, but significant experience at the leadership level is, along with a strategic focus and a passion to share your love for the business with our bright and motivated students. You will also be called upon to mentor and help manage Mojo Ad, our student-staffed advertising agency, which does real work for real clients for real fees. (http://www.mojo-ad.com/)
Columbia, Missouri, is a charming and lively town (one university and two colleges) with a low cost of living. As a professor, you have significant amounts of work freedom and time off, including the entire summer if you choose. Salary is modest and the challenge great, but the psychic rewards are enormous.
