Account Executive/Marketing/PR

Broad Objectives:
• Account lead on African American (AACM) marketing and community relation efforts for major QSR chain in the St. Louis DMA.
• Handle day-to-day activities with detail, accuracy, and timeliness

Reporting Status:
• Reports to the Sr. Account Executive and VP, Director of Client Services

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stewarding of current PR and marketing programs targeting the AACM
• Developing deep relationships within the St. Louis AACM community for potential marketing and PR efforts.
• PR plan development and execution
• Coordination of one of the largest street team marketing programs in the area.
• Good communication and presentation skills a must (both verbal and written)
• Must possess excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and especially Powerpoint)
• Developing powerpoint presentations on a regular basis.
• Strong ability to track and maintain accurate budgets.
• Strong ability to adhere to agency billing, production and accounting practices.
• Responsible for attending client meetings and writing up conference reports timely and accurately.
• Ability to multi-task projects without sacrificing work quality; to evaluate urgency of projects based on timing.
• Manage time and track time effectively and accurately.
• Work as a member of the team and always keep superiors informed.
