Assistant Brand Manager

Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and execute brand building programs with our Dealer network and directly with consumers
• Develop and leverage branding initiatives within the Brand portfolio including sustainable furniture, customization, etc…
• Proactively lead product placement efforts and partnerships in home decorating magazines, TV shows, etc…
• Lead development and execution of Furniture Market Showroom branding
• Media relationship management including press releases for product introductions and trade advertising
• Analyze all aspects of Marketing plan for new ideas and continuous improvement
• Manage the process and the copy development of product concept testing
• Manage the overall copywriting process for all new and existing products from concept to all other marketing collateral
• Competitive assessment to uncover brand and sales opportunities
Requirements
• Brand management and/or creative agency background
• Experience with product placement and partnership development
• Experience with retail marketing and point-of-sale development
• Background in media buying and/or public relations
• Agency and/or client management experience
• Analytical ability
• Self-motivated and comfortable in a less structured environment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Furniture industry experience preferable, but not necessary
• Must be willing to travel -25%
• MBA a plus
• 5 or more years experience is preferred.
