TITLE: COPYWRITER
REPORTS TO: ASSOC. CREATIVE DIRECTOR/CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Expectations
The Work
• Strive for badass copy
• Work directly with art directors to concept and present internally
• Keep abreast of industry and cultural trends
• Work with editing to ensure quality control
• Create final copy for program elements
• Understand business objectives and strategies of client assignments
• Contribute to ideation process; be able to bring unique ideas to the table
• Create and update concept write ups
• Work with art directors to write creative rationale prior to presentation
• Responsible to work within creative timelines, handle work flow and maintain overall accuracy of work with AD, AE and support of ACD/Sr. CD
The Team
• Add to healthy, creative team environment
• Provide input to ACD/Sr. CD and solve problems as requested
• Do your part to help new creatives learn and integrate into Rivet systems
• Contribute to other teams as needed, including new business
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study
• 3-5 years of experience as an copywriter across multiple brands/categories
• Shows developing marketing experience
