Full Time Digital and Traditional Designer - Immediate Opening!

Weintraub Advertising was founded in 1953 and is one of the leading advertising agencies in St. Louis. We are a fast-paced and energetic, full-service advertising and marketing agency of 25 professionals seeking a person immediately with an understanding of, and a hands-on ability to design for traditional and digital formats.

We are looking for a very intelligent, detail-oriented person who has the ability to wear many hats, multi-task and take on new projects seeing them through from brainstorming to completion, with a flexibility to collaborate and work on their own.

Primary Duties:

• TRADITIONAL – Create, design and produce variable content direct marketing, collaterals, point of purchase, packaging, trade show support and more. Be able to work within the established look and feel of a specific brand or campaign or concept something totally new. In all circumstances, the ability to communicate clearly and motivate response with your work is a must!

Secondary Duties:

• DIGITAL – Design and produce occasional custom websites and landing pages, frequent and effective email marketing, online banner ads, and support graphics for client websites, mobile sites, and social media sites. Flash, Joomla and Wordpress experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years “hands-on” experience in both traditional and digital environments
• Print production experience with Adobe InDesign CS4 will also be needed
• Proficiency in all relevant software; including, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of B2B marketing, relationship marketing, big ticket wholesale/retail
• Attention to detail and strong production skills with an understanding of variable data printing and USPS requirements

This person must also have:

• A strong understanding of digital marketing trends, web style sheets
• General knowledge of hosting and servers
• Experience in Marketing Strategy
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Degree preferred in design, graphics, advertising, marketing, business or communications
