We’re scouting a talented, experienced writer, someone who is always looking for the next big idea. The writer is responsible for the copy and concepts for everything from PR to print, TV, radio, outdoor, digital and many, many more. We would also, ideally, want our newest copywriter to be interested in digital media, such as blogging, SEO, Twitter, Facebook, and beyond. Said writer will work directly with the art directors, PR team, and creative directors on almost all projects. Some around the office might call the G/L copywriter a man or woman of many hats.
Duties of a copywriter:
• Work with creative team to develop ad campaigns and concepts of outstanding quality
• Help manage internal digital and social media (ie Facebook, eblasts, Twitter, G/L Blog)
• Strive for excellence in concept/copy, which helps G/L win awards and recognition
• Oversee copy throughout creative process from concepting to final proofing
• Research clients’ products/services/brand guidelines to reflect accurate tone and information in copy and styling
• Work to ensure all copy is supporting strategic direction
• Helps execute writing proposals, marketing plans, PR, etc.
